Job summary

Phoenix Home Care & Hospice is hiring LPNs and RNs for private duty nursing in the Joplin area, including surrounding communities. This role focuses on one patient at a time, delivering meaningful 1:1 care in the home setting.

We offer flexible hours (weekdays, weekends, overnights) and a pathway to supplemental income while you keep your hospital job. Weekly pay and premium shift opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Licensed practical nurse (LPN) or registered nurse (RN) with a current state license.
• Ability to provide one-to-one patient care in a home health setting.
• Flexible availability for weekdays, weekends, overnights as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 patient care to a single patient and family in the home.
• Able to coordinate family communication and care plans.
• Document patient status and report to supervising clinician as required.
• Maintain patient safety and infection control standards in home visits.
