Job summary

Affirmed Home Care, Inc. in Upper Saddle River, NJ, is expanding its Pediatric Division and seeking a compassionate LPN to provide dedicated 1:1 nursing care for an 11-year-old girl at home and school.

This Monday–Friday role offers a stable schedule from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM with pay at $40/hour; you will meet the child each morning, accompany to school, and deliver nursing care throughout the day, including G-tube feeding and respiratory monitoring.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey LPN License in good standing
• Pediatric nursing experience preferred
• Experience in home care, school nursing, acute care, or a similar clinical setting preferred
• Hands-on experience with G-tube feedings
• Experience caring for pediatric patients with respiratory complications
• Current BLS Certification
• Strong communication and clinical observation skills
• Dependable, compassionate, and patient-centered
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with the family and clinical team
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Valid driver’s license preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate, and individualized 1:1 pediatric nursing care
• Accompany the child from home to school and provide nursing support throughout the school day
• Provide G-tube feedings and related care
• Monitor the child for changes in condition and report concerns appropriately
• Recognize and respond appropriately to respiratory complications
• Follow the established plan of care and physician orders
• Collaborate with the child’s family and Affirmed Home Care’s pediatric clinical team
• Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation
• Communicate changes in the child’s condition to the appropriate members of the care team
• Promote the child’s safety, comfort, and well-being throughout the school day
