Job summary

Qualifications

• Be at least eighteen years of age and hold a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer experience working with students or in an educational setting.
• Ability to interact positively and professionally with students, supervisors, and staff.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Willingness to learn safety and lifting procedures as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the teacher with daily supervision of students to maintain a safe and positive learning environment.
• Administer tests, collect data, update records, and track student progress under the teacher’s direction.
• Monitor student behavior and support instruction to address diverse needs.
• Provide classroom support including preparation of materials and basic clerical tasks.
• Provide physical assistance and care for students as required, including lifting and safety routines.
