Job summary

Scottsdale Unified School District is looking for a dedicated instructional assistant to support teachers and adapt activities for diverse learners. You will assist with instruction, monitor IEP progress, and document student progress under the direction of a certified teacher.

The role emphasizes teamwork, basic math, and computer use with opportunities for in-service training. This is a non-exempt, full-time position based on a school campus in Arizona.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED and one year of educational or clerical experience.
• Equivalent education/experience acceptable.
• Ability to obtain First Aid and CPR certification within 30 days of employment.
• Valid DPS Arizona FPCC clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist teacher by helping with classroom instruction and adapting activities.
• Provide one-on-one or group tutoring as needed.
• Monitor and escort students to areas on campus.
• Assist with grading papers and preparing materials.
• Participate in testing and update student information in applicable systems.
• Contact parents and maintain classroom displays and materials.
