ComForCare Home Care - Central San Diego seeks a reliable caregiver to provide 1-on-1 care for a senior male with late-stage dementia in Guatay, Fridays, with consistent weekly hours to support his family.

Responsibilities include toileting, hygiene, meal preparation with safe serving, and calm companionship while family is away. Must have active HCA registration and be comfortable in a rural home.

Qualifications

• Active Home Care Aide (HCA) registration with CDSS (or willing to register).
• Completed Live Scan background check.
• Negative TB test result dated within the last 90 days before hire.
• Prior experience working with seniors with late-stage dementia or Alzheimer's.
• Experience with adult incontinence care and safe hygiene practices.
• Dependable, punctual, and comfortable working independently in a rural home environment.

Responsabilités

• Toileting & Incontinence Care: Prompt and escort client to the bathroom hourly; assist with hygiene and skin care.
• Meal Preparation & Assistance: Prepare breakfast/lunch; serve in bite-sized pieces to encourage eating.
• Companionship & Safety: Provide calm supervision for 5 hours and maintain a structured, safe environment.
