Job summary

Qualifications

• Six months of social services experience preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must possess a valid driver's license with three years driving experience.
• Must have a clean driving record with no more than 6 points.
• Experience with developmentally delayed population preferred.
• Must be able to lift 50-100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assists clients with daily life, social and academic skills.
• Monitors client’s behavior and charts observations.
• Provides emotional support and feedback.

Skills

Ability to observe and monitor program participants’ behavior

Ability to redirect behavioral outbursts

Ability to train program participants in routine daily living skills

Ability to work flexible hours

Ability to participate in supportive guidance

Proficiency with computers

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
