Job summary

KidsPeace is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to provide ABA-based interventions in IBHS within a community setting. You will work one-on-one with a child, structure sessions, and use reinforcement strategies to promote progress.

You will collaborate with the Behavior Analyst (BA) and other staff, document outcomes, and participate in supervision and trainings. The role includes data collection, goal tracking, and ongoing caregiver support.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering Applied Behavior Analysis interventions.
• Ability to work one-on-one with children.
• Proficiency in recording and reviewing behavior data.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA intervention to children.
• Structure sessions and prepare activities with supervision from BA/BC.
• Support caregivers in transfer of skills and session participation.
• Provide a positive therapeutic environment using pairing and reinforcement.
• Collaborate with BA/BC, supervisor, and program staff to meet treatment goals.
• Complete documentation accurately and promptly.
• Attend supervision and complete required trainings.
• Takes behavioral data regularly per treatment plan.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
