We specialize in psychiatric programs and substance abuse treatments, including detox and rehab services, serving Greenville, Spartanburg, Anderson, and surrounding areas in South Carolina and western North Carolina. Position Summary

We are looking for a Mental Health Technician to provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Responsibilities include maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment, crisis intervention, and assisting with activities of daily living. Flexibility to work with diverse populations—including males and females, adolescents and adults, including dually diagnosed individuals—is essential.

Job Duties

• Conduct 15-minute patient rounds as per policy.
• Assist patients at risk of falling during mobility.
• Ensure safety and support a therapeutic milieu.
• Participate in restraint and seclusion procedures when necessary.
• Transport patients in wheelchairs when required.
• Support facility service standards and comply with safety and infection control protocols.
• Maintain punctuality, attendance, and productivity.
• Ensure a safe, orderly, and therapeutic environment.
• Assist with patient hygiene and emergency evacuations.
• Clean and disinfect high-touch areas.
• Support treatment plans through monitoring, communication, and facilitating therapeutic activities.
• Attend mandatory training and maintain documentation.
• Participate in treatment planning and discharge processes.
• Escort patients as assigned and help maintain the therapeutic milieu, including facilitating community groups.
• Orient new patients to the unit.
• Assist with general nursing care and administrative tasks as directed.
• Engage in professional development activities.
• Uphold ethical standards and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
