Heidelberg Materials North America is seeking a night shift operator to manage front-end loaders and other mobile equipment in the yard, ensuring efficient loading and material flow. You will perform pre-shift inspections and coordinate with dispatch to meet production schedules.

What You'll Be Doing

• Operate front-end loaders and other mobile equipment to safely move, stockpile, and load aggregate materials in the yard.
• Load customer and internal haul trucks efficiently to support production and shipping schedules.
• Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas while adhering to all safety and environmental standards.
• Collaborate with dispatch, plant operations, and fellow team members to ensure smooth material flow throughout the night shift.

Conditions of Employment

• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
• Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.

Work Environment

• Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
