Job description

Automatic Stamping Press Experience Required

As a member of the Maintenance team, the Maintenance Mechanic Level III ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements along with repairs on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines.

Robotic Systems Troubleshooting is critical to this role. Must be able to troubleshoot and adjust PLC and HMI programs and electronically tune and troubleshoot equipment to ensure proper operation.

Automatic Stamping Press experience is required for this role. Must be able to apply knowledge and expertise in the performance of scheduled and unscheduled machine setup, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance service.

The Role:

Your work will include, but not be limited to:

  • Install, assemble, and test new machines and equipment; understand and comply with workplace safety regulations.
  • Inspect machines regularly for signs of malfunction; including visual inspections, listening for irregular noises and conducting scheduled testing as appropriate.
  • Perform emergency repairs on various types of machinery, including mechanical, electrical and hydraulic; identify and replace worn or damaged parts in a timely manner.
Your Qualifications:
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair the following:
  • Mechanical (fixtures and machines); Pneumatic (controls, clamps, lines); Hydraulic (controls, clamps, lines); Electric and Electronic systems, incl. PLC's and CPU's (Allen Bradley); Robotic adjustments on Fanuc and Motoman/Yaskawa robots.
  • Familiarity with PLCs, HMIs, and various robotic systems (such as MiR AMR and Fanuc)
  • Strong mechanical and manufacturing experience
Bonus If You Have:
  • Journeyman Card in Electrical, Machine Repair or Machine Building
