Job Title: Assistant Manager

Essential Function

Store Managers are responsible for hiring, developing, and leading all store associates while ensuring optimal customer experiences, overseeing store operations, and maintaining brand standards. Develop strategies and plans to achieve key performance indicators and financial targets through business analysis, action planning, effective communication, and accountability. Assistant Managers support the Store Manager and are responsible for all primary duties when the Store Manager is not present.

Primary Duties

• Brand (30%): Supervise and support associates' daily goals to deliver exceptional customer experience, maximize sales/KPIs, and drive customer loyalty. Ensure brand standards such as merchandising, marketing, dress code, etc., are met. Resolve customer issues and analyze store trends.
• People (30%): Engage, train, and develop teams to achieve results. Recruit actively and address associate strengths and opportunities through coaching. Maintain positive relations and communication, fostering diversity and inclusion.
• Operations (30%): Execute company processes, utilize digital strategies like Omni-channel fulfillment, and manage inventory, payroll, and store procedures effectively.
• Safety/Loss Prevention (10%): Maintain a safe environment, protect assets, ensure compliance with policies, and manage inventory and cash controls.

Knowledge, Skills, and Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be 18 years or older
• Retail sales/customer service experience preferred
• Management experience preferred

• Cosmetology license desirable but not required
