Essential Function

Store Managers are responsible for hiring, developing, and leading all store associates, ensuring optimal customer experiences, overseeing store operations, and maintaining brand standards. They develop strategies and plans to achieve key performance indicators and financial targets through business analysis, action planning, effective communication, and accountability. Assistant Managers support the Store Manager in all outlined areas and assume primary duties when the Store Manager is absent.

Job Title: Assistant Manager

Primary Duties

• 30% Brand: Supervise and support associates' daily goals to deliver exceptional customer experiences, maximize sales/KPIs, and drive loyalty. Ensure brand standards like merchandising, POGs, marketing, and dress code are met. Resolve customer issues and analyze store trends.
• 30% People: Engage, train, and develop teams; recruit actively; identify strengths and opportunities; hold team accountable; resolve concerns; foster diversity and inclusion.
• 30% Operations: Execute company processes, utilize digital strategies such as Omni-channel fulfillment, manage inventory, schedule staff, and ensure store procedures are followed.
• 10% Safety/Loss Prevention: Maintain a safe environment, protect assets, and ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures.

Knowledge, Skills/Abilities And Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be 18 years or older
• Preferred 3+ years retail/customer service experience
• Preferred 1+ year management experience
• Leadership ability, effective communication, scheduling flexibility, cosmetology license optional
