Job description

Employment Type: Full-Time

Why Apollo?

At Apollo, we’ve built a reputation for being "on time" and doing the job right. We aren’t just looking for a pair of hands—we’re looking for a career-minded professional who values integrity and customer service. With over 40 years in the business, we offer a stable environment where you’re treated like family, not just a number.

The Role

As an 06B HVAC Technician, you will be the face of Apollo. You’ll handle the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and light commercial HVAC systems. This role is perfect for a technician who is licensed for restricted electrical work (up to 250V single-phase) and wants to focus on high-quality system performance and customer education.

Key Responsibilities

Expert Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults in HVAC systems (furnaces, heat pumps, AC units).

Precision Maintenance: Perform routine tune-ups to ensure maximum efficiency and equipment longevity.

Electrical Compliance: Safely perform 06B scope work, including wiring, controls, and system connections within the license’s voltage limits.

Customer Education: Clearly explain repair vs. replacement options to homeowners, providing digital estimates and invoices on-site.

Safety First: Maintain a clean workspace and strictly follow L&I safety protocols and local building codes.

What We’re Looking For

License: A valid Washington State 06B (Restricted HVAC/Refrigeration) specialty electrician license is required.

Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on HVAC service or installation experience.

Tech-Savvy: Ability to use tablets/smartphones for dispatching, invoicing, and documenting work.

Physical Ability: Must be comfortable in attics and crawl spaces, and able to lift up to 80 lbs.

Clean Record: Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record (you’ll be driving a company vehicle).

Top Pay: Competitive hourly rates plus performance-based incentives and commissions.

  • Full Benefits: Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage for you and your family.
  • Retirement: 401(k) with company matching.
  • Freedom: Company-provided truck, fuel card, and professional-grade mobile phone.
  • Growth: Paid training and continuing education credits (CEUs) to help you maintain your 06B or work toward an 06A.
  • Balance: Paid time off and paid holidays.
