Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety, LLC is seeking a 06 Journeyman Electrician to independently install, service, and maintain fire alarm systems, CCTV, and access control across diverse job sites. You will interpret blueprints, test systems, and troubleshoot to ensure compliance with codes and quality standards.

The role requires 3+ years in the fire and life safety sector, NICET Level I+ preferred, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of experience in fire and life safety as an apprentice or technician.
• NICET Level I or above preferred.
• Clean driving record and active driver’s license if driving is required.

Responsibilities

• Independently install, service, and maintain fire alarm, CCTV, access control, and other low voltage systems.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Perform system testing and basic troubleshooting.
• Train and support entry-level technicians and apprentices.

Build your career with the industry-leading fire, life safety and security company.The 06 Journeyman Electrician is capable of independently performing core installation tasks for fire alarm systems, CCTV systems, access control systems, and other low voltage specialty systems.
