Sally Beauty - Job Title: Assistant Manager

Essential Function

Store Managers are responsible for hiring, developing, and leading all store associates while ensuring optimal customer experiences. They oversee all store operations and maintain brand standards. Assistant Managers support the Store Manager in these areas and are responsible for primary duties when the Store Manager is not present.

Primary Duties

• Brand (30%): Supervise and support associates in delivering exceptional customer service, meeting sales and KPIs, and maintaining brand standards such as merchandising and marketing.
• People (30%): Engage, train, and develop team members, recruit externally, and address associate concerns while fostering diversity and inclusion.
• Operations (30%): Ensure execution of company processes, manage inventory, payroll, store opening/closing, and support digital strategies.
• Safety/Loss Prevention (10%): Maintain a safe environment, protect assets, and ensure compliance with safety policies.

Knowledge, Skills, and Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be 18 years or older
• Preferred: 3+ years retail/customer service experience, 1+ year management experience
• Effective team leadership and communication skills
• Flexible scheduling availability
• Cosmetology license desirable but not required
