Job summary

Celestica in Richardson, TX is seeking a Technician, Quality 1 to assist quality engineers in resolving production quality issues on the factory floor. You will perform in-process inspections and support root cause analysis, contributing to first article assessments and audits.

Entry-level to 1 year experience is expected; this role requires basic MS Word/Excel skills and familiarity with quality systems. This is a 2nd shift position with opportunities to support continuous improvement

• Assists and supports in-process and product first layer assessment.
• Performs the activities identified related to the Key process and product characteristics.
• Supports the identification and processing of internal non-conforming materials for proper disposition.
• Ensures that the implemented changes and corrective action to rectify non-conformance issues are respected in the manufacturing line.
• Assists and supports Support First Article Assessment activities.
• Supports internal, industry and customer audits as required.
• Supports continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality

• Supports the RMA quality related activities.

Knowledge/Skills/Competencies
