Job summary

Celestica in Richardson, TX seeks a Technician 1 to assist Quality Engineers and provide production expertise for resolving quality issues on the production line.

Responsibilities include supporting first article assessments, handling non-conforming materials, and aiding in corrective actions, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives in a 2nd shift environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to exercise good judgment in providing quality guidance.
• Ability to effectively communicate with internal customers.
• Understanding of quality and manufacturing standards.
• Basic knowledge of computer applications and the ability to perform tasks using Microsoft Word, Excel.
• Knowledge of shop floor control and quality management documentation systems such as Spectrum Pro, EtQ.
• Skills for evaluating, diagnosing and solving problems encountered in the manufacturing.
• Well organized.
