Job summary

Sally Beauty Holdings, LLC is seeking a Sales Associate/Beauty Advisor to create memorable shopping experiences. You will assist with hair color, cosmetics, skin care, and nails, and guide customers on their beauty journey with Sally Beauty training.

You’ll build relationships, promote promotions, enroll customers in the Loyalty program, and handle transactions while maintaining a welcoming store environment. Growth opportunities exist.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 1+ years retail sales/customer service experience preferred.
• Must be available to meet scheduling needs.
• Able to communicate clearly with customers, co-workers and management.
• Ability to apply product knowledge in customer service.
• Read and explain product labels and follow directions from Manager.

Responsibilities

The Sales Associate/Beauty Advisor will focus on one primary objective – creating a memorable shopping experience for our customers. Whether assisting with hair color, cosmetics, skin care, or nails, we want you to be the advisor on our customer’s journey. Your role at Sally Beauty:

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must 18 years of age or older
• 1 + years retail sales/customer service experience preferred
• Must be available to meet the scheduling needs of the business
• Able to communicate with customers, co-workers and management in a clear and concise manner
• Ability to execute knowledge from product knowledge training to support with customer service
• Can read and explain product labels
• Can follow direction and perform other duties as assigned by Manager

• May be exposed to fumes and odors upon occasion.

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements

The position requires some physical exertion such as long periods of standing; walking; recurring bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, or similar activities; recurring lifting of moderately heavy items such as shipment or record boxes. The position involves working around moving parts, carts, or machines, and may occasionally include exposure to irritant chemicals.
