Job summary

Sally Beauty Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Sales Associate/Beauty Advisor in Seguin, Texas, to create a memorable shopping experience for customers. You’ll assist with hair color, cosmetics, skin care, and nails, offering knowledge from training Sally Beauty provides.

You will enjoy generous product discounts, free samples, and opportunities for growth while delivering friendly, knowledgeable service and guiding customers through current promotions and our loyalty program.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 1+ years retail sales/customer service experience preferred.
• Must be available to meet the scheduling needs of the business.
• Able to communicate with customers, co-workers and management in a clear and concise manner.
• Ability to execute knowledge from product knowledge training to support with customer service.
• Can read and explain product labels.
• Can follow direction and perform other duties as assigned by Manager.

The Sales Associate/Beauty Advisor will focus on one primary objective – creating a memorable shopping experience for our customers. We are continually searching for passionate beauty lovers that want to help our customer through their beauty experience. Whether assisting with hair color, cosmetics, skin care, or nails, we want you to be the advisor on our customer’s journey. Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements

The position requires some physical exertion such as long periods of standing; walking; recurring bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, or similar activities; recurring lifting of moderately heavy items such as shipment or record boxes. The position involves working around moving parts, carts, or machines, and may occasionally include exposure to irritant chemicals.
