Job summary

ProDims LLC in Tempe, AZ is seeking an estimator to join our team. You will own deliverables from drawings, perform quantity takeoffs using Bluebeam / On-Screen Takeoff, and maintain our internal cost database.

You will also conduct independent review estimates for owner engagements and present findings in owner briefings and constructability reviews, collaborating with scheduling and field staff and communicating clearly with owners.

Qualifications

• BS in Construction Mgmt, Engineering or equivalent field.
• Fluent in Bluebeam Revu and an estimating platform (Sage/HeavyBid).
• Portfolio of public or institutional estimates.
• Written communication that reads well in a GMP letter.

Responsibilities

• Quantity takeoffs from drawings using Bluebeam / On-Screen Takeoff
• Maintain and extend internal cost database (18 yrs, 140+ projects)
• Perform independent review estimates for owner's rep engagements

Job description

• Paid vacation — 80-104 hours per year, based on tenure.
• Paid holidays — Nine per year; client-site schedules may vary.
• Paid sick leave — One hour for every 40 hours worked.
• Personal day — Eight paid hours per year.

ABOUT THE TEAM

Estimating at ProDims.

Our estimating team builds the financial spine of every program we touch. You'll own deliverables across conceptual through CD phases, partner with scheduling and field staff, and work directly with owners who read what you send.
