Job summary

Raley's is seeking Courtesy Clerks to assist customers in the front end of the store. Responsibilities include bagging groceries, collecting carts, and keeping the store clean while delivering a friendly, helpful experience.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, interact with customers, and support team members to ensure smooth operations and store standards. Prior retail experience is helpful, with requirements including age of 18+ (and 21+ for alcohol service).

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must be 21 years of age for any position that serves alcohol.

Responsibilities

• Bag groceries in a neat, orderly fashion.
• Collect shopping carts from the parking lot and assist customers to their cars.
• Maintain a cheerful, helpful attitude toward customers and team members.
• Keep store and restrooms clean and tidy.
• Assist customers in locating items and participate in go-backs.

Our Courtesy Clerks will be responsible for executing a wide variety of tasks throughout the front end of the store, including bagging groceries, cleaning, collecting carts, and will provide a memorable experience for all our customers.

Responsibilities:

A Courtesy Clerk is a responsible, friendly person who can safely work in a fast-paced environment and provide excellent customer service.

A Courtesy Clerk’s Responsibilities Include

• Bagging customers' groceries in a neat, orderly fashion.
• Collect shopping carts from the parking lot, assist customers to their cars with their groceries
• Always maintain a cheerful, helpful attitude toward all customers and other Team Members
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of store and restrooms
• Assist with “go backs” and accompany customers to locate items throughout the store
• All other related duties as assigned

Employees may occasionally experience the following physical demands for an extended period:

Standing, Sitting, Lifting + Stocking (Up to 50 lbs.), Pushing, Keyboarding, Telephone Use, Walking, Bending
