Job description

TITLE:

Freight Unloader

POSITION OBJECTIVE:

Operate in a safe and efficient manner. Facilitate the movement of products from one location to another, properly load and unload trailers, and prepare products for shipping to customers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Dependable attendance and willingness to work non-standard hours as needed
• Ability to manage job-related stress and foster positive workplace interactions

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure compliance with company policies
• Understand the differences between A, B, Peco, and Chep pallets
• Maintain cleanliness and order in assigned areas
• Perform daily data entry in the IBS Production System
• Follow established procedures, including SOPs, cGMP, food safety, and safety protocols

WORK ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS:

• Subject to extreme heat, with temperatures exceeding 100°F for extended periods

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES REQUIRED:

• Stooping/Bending
• Kneeling
• Standing for long periods
