Job summary

Heidelberg Materials is seeking a quarry support worker to help maintain safe and efficient operations at our Alabama site.

You will assist with equipment cleaning, preventive maintenance, and minor repairs, while supporting crushing, screening, and material handling tasks. Work involves outdoor, heavy industrial environments and a strong emphasis on teamwork and safety.

What You'll Be Doing

• Perform a variety of quarry support duties to maintain safe and efficient operations.


• Assist with equipment clean-up, preventive maintenance, and minor repairs.


• Support crushing, screening, and material handling processes as needed.


• Conduct workplace inspections and address housekeeping needs throughout the site.


• Follow safety procedures while collaborating with team members to meet production goals.

Conditions of Employment

• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.


• Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.

Work Environment

• Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
