Job summary

Heidelberg Materials North America is seeking a maintenance technician to inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical equipment to support reliable plant operations at our Port Everglades facility in Florida.

You will perform preventive and predictive maintenance on conveyors, crushers, pumps, gearboxes, and other plant equipment, and collaborate with operations to improve performance and reliability while following safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot industrial equipment.
• Knowledge of maintenance practices, tools, and safe work procedures in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and work instructions.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

What You'll Be Doing

Conditions of Employment

Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check. Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.

Work Environment

Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.

What We Offer

$24.23 to $29.10 per hour.
