Qualifications

EKVITA as a leader company of consortium has been shortlisted in EU funded project for Turkey “Technical Assistance for R&D Support Labs for LifeSci SMEs towards Global Competitiveness” and is looking for Key Experts and Non-Key Experts positions now.

Expert

Qualifications and skills

Professional experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (i.e. Biomedical, Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or comparable degree in Biotechnology/Bioengineering) or Natural Sciences (i.e. Physics,Chemistry, Biology),
• A post-graduate degree (MSc or Ph.D. degree in Life Sciences) is an asset,
• Very good command of English (speaking, reading, and writing).

General

• Minimum 10 years of working experience following the attainment of a Bachelor's degree.

Specific

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a Managerial Position such as Team Leader or Deputy TeamLeader or Project Manager or equivalent in EU, UN, or other international projects and/or international research funded by EU/International Organisations;
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the provision of training/consultancy services in the life sciences sector (e.g.: Preclinical Research Facilities, NanoMedicine Research Facilities, microsystem-based device development facilities) within the public/private sector is an asset.
• Min 1 years of strategy and policy development experience related to the life science sector is an asset.

Life Science Expert

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Engineering (i.e. Biomedical, Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or comparable degree in Biotechnology/Bioengineering) or Natural Sciences (i.e. Physics, Chemistry, Biology).
• Very good command of English (speaking, reading, and writing).

General

• Minimum 10 years of working experience following the attainment of a Bachelor's degree.

Specific

• Minimum 4 years of experience in the establishment and/or running a private/public research institution in Life Sciences (e.g.: Preclinical Research Facilities, NanoMedicine Research Facilities, microsystem based device development facilities) in the academia or the industry,
• Minimum 2 years of experience at a managerial level in the establishment and/or running an Animal Imaging Center or a large-scale Test & Analysis Laboratory as a service unit at a private, university, or government research institution for academic/industrial projects.

NKE (Business Development Expert)

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Engineering (i.e. Biomedical, Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or comparable degree in Biotechnology/Bioengineering) or Natural Sciences (i.e. Physics, Chemistry, Biology) or Business or Technology Management,

General

• Minimum 10 years of general professional experience,

Specific

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a Managerial Position in EU, UN, or other international projects and/or international research projects funded in Life Sciences by EU/International Organizations, or in a position responsible for Business Development/Exploitation/Commercialization related Work Packages in EU, UN or other international projects and/or international research projects funded in Life Sciences by EU/International Organizations;
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the establishment and/or running a private/public research institution or center of excellence in Life Sciences or in running the division or working as a coordinator within a specific division of such an organization responsible with the university-industry project development, either in academia or industry.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a personal entrepreneurial activity in life sciences and/or running a business incubator/accelerator in life sciences,

Other NKEs (Short term NKE)

• Bachelor's or higher degree relevant to the assignment
• Minimum 7 years of professional experience and minimum 5 years of specific professional experiencerelevant to the assignment for senior NKE,
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience and minimum 2 years of specific professional experiencerelevant to the assignment for junior NKE,
• Good command of English (speaking, reading, and writing)
