AstraZeneca Turkey seeks a senior leader to serve as Head of IT / Commercial IT Director, the country’s senior IT lead and single point of contact for local technology matters.

This role shapes technology strategy, governance, risk, and platform delivery to drive commercial growth, customer engagement and productivity.

You will lead a cross-functional team, partner with global and regional IT, and ensure compliant, secure, scalable solutions that enable business value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM; MBA desirable.
• 12+ years in IT roles with 3+ years in leadership within multinational or regulated environments.
• Experience with product/platform operating models and API-led delivery.
• Strong understanding of AI, automation, analytics and data governance.
• Proven agile leadership and global enterprise delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead Turkey Commercial IT strategy, roadmap and investment agenda.
• Own country products, platforms and capabilities with clear ownership.
• Drive speed, agility and simplification to deliver business value.
• Translate business goals into an integrated technology portfolio with measurable outcomes.
• Champion responsible AI adoption with governance and change management.
• Ensure data privacy, security and regulatory compliance.
• Build and develop a high-performing Turkey IT team.
