A Travel Trade Sales Manager is responsible for managing individual agency bookings, groups, and events at our hotels. The role involves building and maintaining relationships with travel agencies to drive sales and increase bookings in leisure and corporate segments.

Job Description

As a Groups, Conference & Events Sales Coordinator, you will oversee hotel events from initial contact to contract preparation, execution, and post-event follow-up, performing tasks to high standards:

  • Develop customer accounts and travel locally to boost hotel business and market share in leisure and group segments
  • Negotiate room rates and packages with travel agencies
  • Attend sales events and trade shows (WTM, ITB, ATM)
  • Produce reports on appointments, calls, and leads for management
  • Prepare contracts in line with current business conditions
  • Maintain regular contact with travel agencies
  • Align with current strategies and identify new opportunities
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries
  • Collaborate with hotel departments to enhance guest experience and sales programs
  • Identify new markets to increase bookings
  • Analyze market trends and competitors to find new leads
  • Conduct FAM trips and presentations
  • Ensure rate parity and support revenue strategies

Qualifications:

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field
