Job summary

GE Vernova in Gebze, Türkiye, seeks an engineer to execute electrical design and integration for transformer protection, measurement, and monitoring components. You will ensure technical approval during procurement and comply with IEC/IEEE standards within project budgets.

Applicants should hold an engineering degree, be able to work onsite four days a week, and reside in Istanbul or near Kocaeli. Relocation assistance is not indicated.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required.
• Comfortable writing technical reports.
• Willing to work at Gebze plant at least 4 days per week.
• Ability to live in Istanbul & Kocaeli.

Responsibilities

• Analyze technical specifications from global clients or utilities to identify required transformer accessories and monitoring systems.
• Support the Marshalling Kiosk design team to ensure accessory wiring and terminal box allocations match control schematics.
• Prepare technical submittals and documentation (datasheets, wiring layouts, I/O signal lists) for client approval and internal production teams.
• Follow and apply international transformer standards, specifically IEC 60076 and IEEE equivalents.
• Address non-conformance reports and perform preventive actions with the EHS team to avoid incidents.
