Trade and Customer Relations Assistant Manager is expected to work in the Department of Trade and Customer Relations in Autoport Terminal Arkas Holding, located in Başiskele/Kocaeli.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant departments (Preferably in International Trade, Business Administration, Maritime and Port Management etc.),
- Minimum 7 years of experience in marketing, Sales Techniques and Customer Relations Management at Shipping Lines, Agencies, or International Logistics Companies,
- Excellent command of English
- Strong knowledge of MS Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel applications and data analysis
- Preferably, knowledge of Foreign Trade, Import, Export, Customs process and legislation
- Leadership skills and ability to establish communication between departments and to explore the latest business strategies
- Strong analytical, problem solving and organization skills
- Excellent Presentation and communication skills
- Keen attention to detail, adaptability and pragmatism; ability to manage an active caseload and prioritize effectively
- No obstacle to travel
- Completed military service (for male candidates).

- Exploring and discovering new business opportunities- uncovering new markets, growth areas, emerging trends, potential customers, strategic partnerships, products and services - and novel approaches to reach existing markets.
- Provides input for decision-making to manager.
- Manage negotiations with the customer on behalf of the company
- Assisting development and implementation of pricing strategies.
- Assist to oversee and manage commercial contracts, ensuring compliance and optimizing terms for mutual benefit,.
- Enhancing the customer experience and promptly addressing client concerns with utmost efficiency.
- Manage, organize, follow, and report the processes of all trade affairs conducted with existing and potential, domestic and foreign customers, ship owners, ship agencies, international logistics companies operating at home and abroad,
- Detect and report the existing and potential risks and opportunities analysing international market, competition, ship services and freight traffic,
- Develop and maintain existing and potential customer portfolio, manage the sales oriented Trade and Customer Relations processes,
- Organize and report marketing activities in line with established procedures.
