As a Tendering Specialist in our Grid Automation Europe team, you’ll be a vital part of our efforts to electrify the future. Based in one of our European offices, you’ll generate the energy needed to create compelling bids and proposals for substation automation projects.

The opportunity

Join our Grid Automation Europe team as a Tendering Specialist and contribute to creating compelling bids and proposals for substation automation projects.

How you\'ll make an impact
  • Lead the tender process: From the initial spark to the final contract, you\'ll power the tender process, ensuring we deliver competitive, high-voltage bids that energize profitable business.
  • Generate winning bids: Craft commercially, legally, and technically charged offers that resonate with our customers\' needs.
  • Define project scope: Illuminate the scope of supply and collaborate with our supply chain to attract the best quotations from subcontractors.
  • Estimate costs: Team up with sales to calculate costs, set margins, and determine the electrifying sales price.
  • Plan and submit tenders: Keep the momentum going by ensuring timely, high-quality tender submissions.
  • Support sales and negotiations: Provide technical power during early project stages and electrify contract negotiations with your expertise.
  • Prepare documentation: Power up detailed tender documents and reports for internal reviews and approvals.
Your background
  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in communication technology or Telecommunication engineering or a related field.
  • Technical expertise: A bright understanding of Telecommunication Product portfolio and technology in industrial applications.
  • Industry knowledge: You’re plugged into the grid automation market and its latest developments.
  • Experience: A proven track record in tendering and commercial processes in a similar business area.
  • Language skills: Fluency in the local language of the job location, with strong English skills to connect across borders. French, German or Russian is an advantage.
  • Travel: Ready to engage in customer meetings and travel up to 10% of the time.
