Description
Dynamic and solution-oriented Maintenance Technician. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a wide range of technical maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting tasks throughout the residence / resort.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance and repair tasks throughout the residence / resort, including electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, kitchen and laundry equipment, swimming pool, and general building maintenance.
- Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating systems; inspect and troubleshoot equipment such as motors, switches, pumps, wiring, thermostats, and fans.
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and electronic systems.
- Perform routine maintenance on kitchen and laundry equipment, respond promptly to breakdowns, and ensure equipment is always in good working order.
- Maintain swimming pool and water systems, ensure proper chemical balance, inspect filter and pump systems, and maintain the cleanliness of the pool area.
- Respond quickly and effectively to all technical service requests and maintenance issues, and take necessary measures to ensure the safety of the building and guests in emergency situations.
- Record all maintenance and repair activities and report them at the end of each shift.
- Monitor and supervise outsourced maintenance and repair work.
- Fully comply with hotel policies, occupational health and safety, environmental, and hygiene regulations.
- Perform other technical duties assigned by management.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Vocational high school, college, or university degree in a relevant field (Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC, Plumbing, etc.).
- At least 2 years of technical maintenance and repair experience in hotels, residences, resorts, hospitals, shopping malls, or similar facilities.
- Knowledge and experience in electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, kitchen/laundry equipment, and pool systems.
- Strong technical drawing interpretation, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in using MS Office programs and technical management software.
- Team-oriented, with strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and a solution-focused approach.
- Ability to work in shifts and adapt to flexible working hours.
- Knowledgeable of occupational health and safety regulations, and meticulous and detail-oriented in their work.
