Job summary

Qoves Inc. in Turkey is seeking a Technical Product Owner and Project Manager to drive delivery across engineering and product teams, with strong ownership over roadmaps and backlog.

You will work directly with our Head of Engineering and CTO, coordinating delivery across engineering and product initiatives. This role offers significant ownership and visibility, with clear acceptance criteria, and the chance to shape how projects are planned and delivered.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in Project Management, Delivery Management, Product Operations, or Scrum Master roles.
• Knowledge of the software development process and Jira/Trello.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to grasp technical terminology and concepts.
• Excellent command of G-Suite / MS Office.
• Strong written and spoken English.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work well within a team.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of the team's backlog, ensuring work is prioritised correctly, tracked accurately, and kept up to date.
• Drive projects from planning through delivery by tracking progress, identifying risks early, and removing blockers before they impact timelines.
• Ensure work is clearly scoped before development begins and meets requirements before release.
• Work closely with engineering leads and stakeholders to clarify requirements, resolve ambiguity, and align expectations.
• Maintain product roadmaps and help sequence work based on business priorities and team capacity.
• Track delivery performance and operational metrics, providing regular updates and recommendations to leadership.
• Act as the central point of coordination between developers, stakeholders, and management, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
• Define acceptance criteria alongside stakeholders and technical leads to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Facilitate team ceremonies including stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and weekly planning sessions where appropriate.

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years in Project Management, Delivery Management, Product Operations, or Scrum Master roles
• Knowledge of the software development process and task/document management tools such as Jira, Trello, or similar
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to grasp technical terminology and concepts
• Quick learner, flexible from a technology standpoint, with genuine eagerness to learn
• Excellent command of G-Suite / MS Office
• Strong written and spoken English
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work well within a team

Nice to Have

• Experience working directly with software engineering teams
• Familiarity with Scrum and Kanban
• Experience building dashboards and reporting metrics
