What you’ll do
- Keep İzmir Technology Center up and running on a 7/24 basis
- Ensure the 7/24 continuity of İzmir Technology Center operation
- Conclude internal and external customer requests in a timely and complete manner within the framework of roles and responsibilities
- Operate İzmir Technology Center in an energy efficient and sustainable manner
- Apply Technical Infrastructure Maintenance and Operations Processes and actions via operation maintenance Subcontractor according to SLA KPIs (L2 level operation)
- Apply layout allocations for Network/IT Equipment at Technology Center
- Perform periodic system checks and tests of all infrastructure equipment; support independent audits
- Commission and integrate new energy systems and cooling equipment
- Update and report electrical infrastructure layouts and drawings of Technology Center
- Warn and inform planning team of capacity shortages and performance degradation in detail
- Follow daily status of all infrastructure equipment in relation to Telecom and IT equipment
- Prepare weekly progress reports and energy equipment reports
- Ensure quality of installation and works as per specifications and on schedule at Technology Center
- Operate Technology Center environment without service outage
- Communicate closely with Internal/External Customer periodically at the Technology Center
- Monitor all alarms from infrastructure systems on a 7/24 basis
- Take preventive actions before fault occurrence and apply immediate corrective action to restore the system
- Supervise troubleshooting by related vendors via MSP
- Report weekly performance of each system
- Present technical introduction of İzmir Technology Centre (English/Turkish)
- Provide technical data to tender documents
- Support and organize Customer activities after sales
- Supervise/accompany potential customer visits (English/Turkish)
- Work safely and in good health; provide a safe place of work
- Comply with health & safety rules and policies; identify risks related to the works/job
- Prevent/stop unsafe works or acts
- Report all accidents and occupational health problems of self, staff, team members or contractors to HSE&W department
Who you are
- Electrical/Mechanical Engineer
- Good knowledge and experience on energy infrastructure and power systems, high-capacity air conditioners, cabling and layout planning of Technology Center
- Customer oriented, result oriented, empathetic, good relationship with customers, customer satisfaction oriented
- Teamwork, innovative, adaptable, flexible working (night/weekends-7/24 shift)
- Min 5 years of similar experience
- Very good English (at least Upper intermediate level)
- Experience mainly in GSM/IT environment
- Experience at a Telecom Operator or Mission Critical building
- Candidate home close to İzmir Technology Center
