BNP Paribas in Turkey seeks an Equity Fund Manager to drive alpha through active portfolio construction and disciplined risk management. You will perform rigorous fundamental research and engage with management teams to extract actionable investment ideas.

The role requires 5–10 years in equity management or related research, strong financial modeling skills, and fluency in English for collaboration with the international network. A CFA or MBA is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5 to 10 years of professional experience directly within equity portfolio management, buy-side equity research, or top-tier sell-side equity research.
• Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university
• Advanced degree (Master’s/MBA) or progress toward/completion of the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) designation is highly preferred.

Responsabilités

• Portfolio Construction & Management: Actively manage equity funds to consistently outperform benchmarks and peer groups.
• Investment Strategy & Idea Generation: Formulate and execute actionable, data-driven investment ideas by combining top-down macroeconomic views with bottom-up equity research.
• Fundamental Research: Build and update comprehensive financial models (DCF, multiples), conducting thorough qualitative business analysis and corporate governance assessments of listed companies.
• Company Engagement: Maintain active professional dialogues with corporate management teams, industry experts, and sell-side analysts to deepen institutional insights.
• Risk & Compliance Management: Ensure all portfolio transactions strictly adhere to internal risk parameters, client mandates, investment committee guidelines, and CMB regulations.
• Market Monitoring: Continuously track global asset classes, monetary policies, and local capital flows to dynamically position equity portfolios under changing market conditions.

We are seeking a highly analytical, proactive, and forward-thinking Equity Fund Manager to join our investment team. In this role, you will be directly responsible for alpha generation, constructing robust equity portfolios, and conducting rigorous fundamental research. The ideal candidate will leverage an extensive understanding of both global macro dynamics and Borsa Istanbul (BIST) market structures to execute high-conviction investment ideas within a disciplined risk framework.

Qualifications & Requirements

Experience & Education

• 5 to 10 years of professional experience directly within equity portfolio management, buy-side equity research, or top-tier sell-side equity research.

• Advanced degree (Master’s/MBA) or progress toward/completion of the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) designation is highly preferred.

Technical & Analytical Skills

• Exceptional financial analysis skills, including advanced financial modeling, corporate valuation techniques, and an excellent grasp of accounting standards.
• Proficiency in financial data platforms (e.g., Bloomberg, Matriks etc).
• Excellent use of MS Office applications
