We are looking to appoint a permanent Teacher of Sociology from January 2027 and would welcome full-time or 0.8 FTE applications. A departmental responsibility may be available for the right applicant. We welcome applications from newly qualified teachers. Sociology is a popular subject choice at GCSE and A Level. In 2026, 89% of students achieved grade 4 or above at GCSE level, with 36% achieving grade 7 and above. At A level 100% of students achieved A*-C with 83% achieving A*-B grades.
