Job summary

Unifree Duty Free in Istanbul is seeking a strategic leader to head People & Culture, overseeing talent development, internal communications, and employer branding across our airport stores. You will partner with senior leaders to build a thriving, inclusive culture in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.

The role requires a track record of designing development programs, driving engagement, and shaping employer branding.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in talent development, learning and development, internal communications, and employer branding
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong project management, planning, and organizational capabilities.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into meaningful actions.
• Strong creative thinking and content development skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
• Good command of written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Identify organizational development needs and develop and implement annual learning and development plans accordingly.
• Design, develop, and manage end-to-end competency, talent, and leadership development programs.
• Measure the effectiveness of learning and development initiatives, analyze outcomes, and drive continuous improvement.
• Develop initiatives and programs that support employees’ career and development journeys.
• Develop the internal communications strategy and annual communication plan, while effectively managing communication channels and the content calendar.
• Plan and deliver employee communications in line with the company’s strategy, culture, and values.
• Design and implement communication initiatives, events, and projects that strengthen employee engagement, experience, and sense of belonging.
• Develop the employer branding strategy and translate it into actionable annual plans and initiatives.
• Develop employee experience and communication practices that strengthen the Employee Value Proposition.
• Manage employer branding activities, including career communications, social media content, university partnerships, career events, and early talent programs.
• Monitor employee feedback and relevant performance indicators, identify areas for improvement, and translate insights into actions.
• Stay up to date with emerging People & Culture trends and best practices and develop new approaches in line with organizational needs.
