Döhler Türkiye is looking for a "Supplier Quality Manager" to be employed in our Istanbul Maltepe Office with following qualification

Your Role
  • Manage supplier selection, evaluation, approval, and performance audits in line with quality, food safety, and sustainability criteria.
  • Review supplier quality documents (e.g., certificates, analysis reports, specifications) for compliance and ensure they remain up to date.
  • Lead internal and external audits with suppliers and ensure timely resolution of nonconformities.
  • Conduct quality and food safety risk assessments during new supplier and product onboarding processes.
  • Manage and monitor quality control activities for purchased product groups.
  • Perform root cause analyses of customer complaints, develop action plans in coordination with suppliers and production teams, and ensure follow-up.
  • Ensure implementation of certification requirements (FSSC 22000, BRC, IFS, ISO 9001, Organic, Halal, Kosher, etc.) both on-site and across the supplier chain.
  • Manage, report, and archive quality control audit programs, quality plans, and quality records.
  • Contribute to the development, implementation, and monitoring of HACCP, GMP, GLP, Hygiene, and Operational Excellence programs.
  • Manage traceability systems and drive their improvement, particularly for organic and sustainable products.
  • Provide technical communication and support to customers on quality-related matters when required.
Your Profile
  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Food Science, Chemistry, or a related field (or equivalent experience),
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in food safety, quality assurance/control, or supplier management,
  • Proven experience in supplier audits, evaluations, and managing quality agreements,
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience with quality and food safety systems such as FSSC 22000, BRC, IFS, ISO 9001, GMP, HACCP,
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders,
  • Analytical thinking and root cause analysis skills, with a solution-oriented mindset,
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, with strong reporting and follow-up capabilities.
