Job summary

Rijk Zwaan Türkiye is seeking a Station Manager to jointly lead our three breeding stations in Antalya with the current Station Manager. You will coordinate daily operations, manage facilities and resources, and drive continuous improvement across the station while collaborating with Breeding, Execution, Sales and Support teams.

You will contribute to shaping strategic development, operating environment safety, and sustainable practices, while coordinating budgets and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline from an Agricultural Faculty.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant professional experience in agricultural operations, station management, farm management, production, or a comparable role.
• Strong understanding of agricultural production processes and infrastructure management.
• Passion for following emerging agricultural technologies, precision farming solutions, automation, digital agriculture, and sustainability trends.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Share leadership with the current Station Manager and jointly oversee the operational and strategic development of Rijk Zwaan's three breeding stations in Antalya.
• Lead, coach, and support a team of approximately 50 employees across three breeding stations in Antalya.
• Lead and coordinate day-to-day station operations.
• Ensure efficient use of facilities, equipment, vehicles, and other resources.
• Manage operational budgets and monitor related expenditures.
• Plan and manage five-year investment budgets and monitor budget realization against plans.
• Coordinate service providers, contractors, and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and company standards.
• Support infrastructure development and operational improvement projects.
• Monitor developments in agricultural technologies and digital farming solutions, evaluating opportunities to implement innovations that improve efficiency and sustainability.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence across the stations.
• Act as a trusted partner for colleagues and management by providing practical and sustainable solutions.
• Strengthen cooperation between Breeding, Execution, Sales, and Support teams to ensure an effective and well-organized station environment.
• As an active member of the Management Team, contribute to the development and execution of the company's strategy and operational objectives.

What does your job as Station Manager at Rijk Zwaan look like?
This position has been created to work alongside the current Station Manager, sharing leadership responsibilities and jointly supporting the operational and strategic development of Rijk Zwaan's three breeding stations (Silyon, Korkuteli, Kurşunlu) in Antalya
Together with the current Station Manager, you will contribute to creating a safe, efficient, and future-oriented working environment that enables our Breeding, Execution, Sales, and Support teams to perform at their best. You will be responsible for coordinating daily operations, managing facilities and resources, supporting cross-functional collaboration, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the station.
You will also contribute to the long-term development of the station by identifying opportunities to improve operational excellence and by exploring innovative agricultural technologies and best practices.
You will be in close contact with the international Station Management teams in all RZ Subsidiaries and will be reporting to R&D Managing Director Türkiye.
Your responsibilities include:
