Job summary

DataBoss Security & Analytics A. Ş. seeks a Software QA Engineer to own quality across web, mobile, API and AI systems. You will design risk-based test strategies and combine manual with automated testing while collaborating with product, software and AI teams throughout the SDLC.

You’ll validate AI-driven outputs, develop test datasets, and implement E2E tests, including integration into CI/CD pipelines to ensure secure, reliable products from development to production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Test Engineer or QA Specialist.
• Strong SDLC knowledge and test methodologies.
• Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Appium, Postman, Pytest or similar.
• Experience testing APIs, mobile apps, and AI-based systems.
• Basic Python knowledge and ability to work with JSON/XML.
• End-to-end ownership for quality of web/mobile/LLM-based apps.
• Develop risk-based test strategies and test scenarios.
• Collaborate with product, software, and AI teams on testability.
• Familiarity with LLM technologies for functional, performance, and security tests.

Responsibilities

• Report test results and provide architectural recommendations.

We are looking for a Software QA Engineer to be involved in software projects in various Artificial Intelligence fields. The candidates are expected to take end-to-end ownership of quality across web, mobile, API, and LLM-based systems; design and execute risk-based test strategies; combine manual and automated testing approaches; collaborate closely with product, software, and AI teams throughout the SDLC; and ensure reliable, secure, and high-quality AI-driven products from development to production.

Skills & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related engineering discipline,
• Having at least 5 years of experience as a Test Engineer and/or QA Specialist,
• Having strong knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and test methodologies,
• Being experienced with test automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Appium, Postman, Pytest, or similar,
• Having experience in testing APIs, mobile applications, and AI-based systems,
• Having basic Python knowledge and being able to work with data formats such as JSON and XML,
• Taking end-to-end responsibility for the quality of LLM-based web and mobile applications, including test planning, test scenario design, functional and validation testing, and quality processes,
• Developing risk-based test strategies according to product features and designing the required test scenarios,
• Collaborating with product, software, and AI teams to review user stories and acceptance criteria from a testability perspective,
• Being familiar with LLM technologies at a level that enables planning and execution of functional, performance, and security tests,
• Creating test datasets to measure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of AI-generated outputs,
• Performing manual testing for exploratory testing, edge cases, new feature validation, and regression scenarios where automation is not suitable,
• Converting repetitive and stable scenarios into end-to-end (E2E) automated tests,Performing user experience, performance, connectivity, and security testing for web and mobile applications,
• Designing, implementing, and maintaining end-to-end (E2E) tests covering web, mobile, and API layers,
• Integrating E2E, API, and integration tests into CI/CD pipelines to establish meaningful quality signals and quality gates,
• Monitoring production quality signals (user feedback, defects, etc.) and driving continuous improvement in SDLC and test processes,
• Reporting test results in detail and providing product and architectural improvement recommendations,
• Managing test findings in close coordination with software and AI teams,
• Participating in field testing when required, including closed-network or offline environments.
• You will directly work with highly experienced engineers, researchers and academicians with extensive experience on Artificial Intelligence.
