Job summary

P.I. Works is seeking a Product Design Engineer (Product Owner) to translate mobile network automation and management needs into concrete software solutions in Istanbul. You will prototype telecom software, specify features, design user interfaces, and drive end-to-end development with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in a relevant field.
• 2+ years of experience in mobile telecommunications.
• Hands-on experience with mobile network management products (network optimization, planning, self-organized network, geo-location, performance management, configuration management, fault management).
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Strong product mindset and passion for new technologies.
• Understanding of basic database concepts and SQL is a plus.
• UX/UI design experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Extract business use cases, analyze value, validate studies, and provide a competitive roadmap.
• Demonstrate network management solutions to potential customers with technical details and value propositions.
• Develop technical specification documents based on operators’ requirements and needs.
• Design user interfaces, back-end structure, usage workflow, concept sketches, and high-fidelity wireframes.
• Test and validate solutions against technical requirements and user experience.
• Track issues using issue tracking systems and maintain knowledge base.
• Collaborate with development, integration, QA, project management and support teams to diagnose problems and propose solutions.
• Organize product design review meetings with SMEs to validate requirements and proposed solutions.
