Marti invites applications for a backend developer to design, build, and maintain scalable services using Node.js, NestJS, and TypeScript. You will deliver RESTful APIs and robust microservices in production.

Collaborate with product and frontend teams, write automated tests, and participate in code reviews. The role requires 3+ years of backend experience, strong debugging skills, and a passion for clean, production-ready code in an Agile environment.

Qualificações

• 3+ years of professional backend development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Node.js, NestJS, and TypeScript.
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining RESTful APIs.
• Experience building and maintaining microservices in production environments.
• Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL and relational database design.
• Experience designing and working with Redis for caching, distributed locking, or similar use cases.
• Experience with message-based systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar.
• Experience writing unit and integration tests.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Experience using Git in a collaborative development environment.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and production-ready code.
• Experience working in Agile teams.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Node.js, NestJS, and TypeScript.
• Build reliable and maintainable REST APIs and asynchronous services.
• Design, build, and enhance production-grade microservices.
• Take ownership of development tasks from implementation through delivery.
• Independently own and deliver development tasks with a strong sense of responsibility and accountability.
• Work confidently within an existing production codebase, understanding, extending, and improving existing systems rather than building everything from scratch.
• Write automated tests to ensure the reliability and maintainability of your code.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to deliver high-quality features.
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions, while continuously improving engineering standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues with a focus on reliability, performance, and maintainability.
• Understand business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Proactively communicate progress, identify risks, and raise blockers early.
• Contribute to the evolution of our backend architecture and engineering best practices.
