  • Manage non-conformity processes and monitor welding quality.
  • Participate in internal audits and continuous improvement of QMS.

Job Description

General Purpose

A versatile task for a dynamic engineer who is passionate and wants to develop towards supplier and project quality management. You will become a supporting team member in the optimization of the value creation processes in a progressive organization.

Responsibilities

  • Planning, implementation and evaluation of quality assurance for mechanical parts at suppliers and assembly partners
  • Review and approval of supplier quality assurance plans
  • Responsibility for the management of the non-conformity process (NCR / 8D reports) and enforcement of the implementation of the action plan - corrective and preventive actions at our suppliers
  • Monitoring welding quality against industry standards and technical documentation
  • Provision of quality support for homologation
  • Participation in in-process inspections in production and preparation and analysis of data on assembly processes and product conformity
  • Support in the implementation of technical changes and retrofits at our suppliers.
  • Organization and implementation of process and product acceptance tests for large and medium-sized mechanical components
  • Participation in the continuous improvement of the quality management system (QMS)
  • Participation in internal audits in coordination with other locations and functions
  • Continuous reporting to the head of the quality department

Qualifications

Education and professional Training

  • Completed engineering university degree and advanced training in quality assurance as well as a corresponding provable work experience
  • Welding quality control skills, training or experience

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience preferably in manufacturing engineering industry, Automobile or Rail sector, or other related automobile industry
  • Good knowledge of the common quality tools (PPAP, FMEA, 8D)
  • Fluent in business English
  • Good skills in MS Office
  • Basic knowledge of railway technology would be advantageous
  • Distinct willingness to take responsibility, ability to work in a team and also independent way of working
  • Ability to travel (business trips occur sporadically within Turkey)
