You will perform manual and automated testing, document defects, and collaborate with developers to ensure issue resolution and smooth releases. Strong ownership, independent decision-making, and proactive asynchronous communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of QA, testing, or related discipline in e-commerce/agency environments.
• Strong knowledge of Shopify ecosystem including Admin, themes, apps, metafields, storefront architecture.
• Proficiency with Shopify Liquid and template logic to investigate defects.

Responsibilities

• Monitor live Shopify storefront during shift for bugs and regressions.
• Validate deployments, theme updates, liquid changes, and third-party app integrations.
• Execute end-to-end manual and automated regression testing across desktop and mobile.
• Write and maintain structured test cases; perform cross-browser/device validation.
• Triage and document defects in ClickUp and GitHub Issues with clear steps and context.
• Collaborate with developers via GitHub PRs to validate fixes.
• Prepare shift handoff notes to communicate risks and priorities.
