Job summary

Colgate-Palmolive is seeking a Process Engineer to lead a shift-based production team across our Focus Factory environment, covering Personal Care/Liquid and Soap manufacturing. The role combines production, process engineering, frontline leadership and maintenance coordination, with reporting to Focus Factory Managers and collaboration with maintenance, engineering, quality, EHS and other plant functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or related field.
• 2–3 years in production, process engineering, maintenance or similar plant-based role.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Team player with the ability to work across shift teams and plant functions.
• Knowledge of KPIs, problem solving and continuous-improvement principles.
• Willingness to work rotating 2- or 3-shift pattern.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day shift operations; supervise production operators and ensure shift handovers.
• Own shift execution against safety, quality, service, cost and productivity targets; monitor key production indicators.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, quality and microbiology requirements; participate in risk assessments and corrective actions.
• Apply Lean/WCM tools (5S, Kaizen, root-cause analysis, SMED, standard work) to reduce losses.
• Act as first technical escalation on shift; coordinate troubleshooting with technical teams.
• Coordinate maintenance activities and support planned/autonomous maintenance routines.
• Support plant improvement projects, equipment modifications, commissioning, trials and line changes.
• Maintain operating standards and coach shift teams on technical standards and autonomous maintenance.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, EHS, Planning and HR for daily operations and improvements.
