Job Overview

We’re looking for a Senior Video Editor (Motion Designer) to join our Creative team and help shape how Ultahost communicates through motion, video, and visual storytelling. In this role, you’ll combine strong motion design expertise with high-level video editing and post‑production skills to create polished, engaging content across performance marketing and brand initiatives. From developing concepts and storyboards to animation, editing, and final delivery, you’ll have hands‑on ownership of the creative process and the quality of the work you produce. We blend data‑driven performance thinking with real craft in design, editing, motion, and narrative to build video ads and brand pieces that actually deliver results. What You’ll Do

• Turn design assets into eye‑catching motion graphics using After Effects and other tools of the trade
• Sketch storyboards, bring concepts to life through animation, and pitch visual ideas clearly to collaborators and stakeholders
• Handle editing and post‑production so motion graphics and storytelling come together into one polished piece
• Keep several projects moving at once without letting creative quality or deadlines slip
• Track where motion design, editing, and production are heading, and fold new techniques and tools into your work
• Tap AI‑powered creative tools and video generation frameworks to work smarter, open up fresh creative directions, and get more done
• Stay in sync with the broader Creative team to keep the brand consistent and the visual quality high

What We’re Looking For

• 4+ years working in motion graphics, video editing, or something closely related
• Deep expertise in Adobe After Effects, plus confident command of other motion design tools
• A firm grip on the fundamentals: motion principles, typography, pacing, composition, and visual storytelling
• Comfort in editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro
• Practical working knowledge of camera, lighting, and audio
• Familiarity with AI‑powered creative tools and video generation frameworks, and the judgment to use them effectively in real workflows
• Clear communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present and sell creative ideas across teams
• Ability to adapt quickly, manage multiple priorities, and maintain high creative standards in a fast‑paced environment
• A strong portfolio demonstrating high‑quality motion work, editing craft, visual storytelling, and creative problem‑solving
