Job summary

Padran Information Technologies is looking for a seasoned Test Engineer to join our Turkish client projects. You will design, implement and execute functional and manual tests for mobile apps (Flutter-based Android/iOS) and test cloud solutions, web interfaces and APIs.

You will also develop test scenarios for Tableau and Data Bricks, manage tests with Jira Xray, and contribute to CI/CD by scripting in Python and Bash, while mentoring teammates and driving automation improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related fields.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in test engineering.
• Experience with mobile apps (Flutter, Android, iOS).
• Advanced Python and Bash scripting experience.
• Experience with Jira Xray or similar tools.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Agile/Scrum methodologies experience.
• Performance and load testing experience.
• Cybersecurity experience is a plus.

• Develop and execute test scenarios on platforms like Tableau and Data Bricks.
• Manage and report test processes using Jira Xray.
• Utilize internal automation tools developed by our automation team and develop Python and Bash scripts when needed.
• Suggest improvements and increase automation in test processes.
• Actively participate in CI/CD processes.
• Mentor team members and share knowledge.

What you should ideally bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related fields; a Master's degree is preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in test engineering.
• In-depth knowledge and experience with mobile applications (Flutter, Android, iOS).
• Advanced experience with Python and Bash scripting languages.
• Advanced experience with Jira Xray or similar test management tools.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience in performance and load testing.
• Experience in Cybersecurity is a plus.
• Familiarity with test automation tools (Selenium, Appium, Jenkins, etc.) is a plus.
• Proficiency in English.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
