Job summary

Digital Zone seeks an experienced software engineer to own significant features end-to-end within a live, revenue-carrying system. You will architect scalable services, apply TDD and AI-assisted development, and ensure secure, robust code across the stack.

Ideal candidates bring 5-8 years of production software experience, deep skills in at least one stack (TypeScript, Go, or C#) plus Postgres and AWS, and a mindset toward continuous improvement and mentorship.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years building production software, owning services
• Strong depth in at least one stack (TypeScript, Go, or C#) plus Postgres and AWS
• Security-aware coding with focus on auth, input validation and data handling
• Ability to diagnose issues and monitor services across boundaries
• Mentor teammates and contribute to runbooks and ADRs

Responsibilities

• Own significant features and services end to end in your domain, architecting for scale and minimal cross-service dependencies
• Ship production-ready, self-documenting code and set standards for AI-assisted development
• Apply TDD and mocks, refactor for testability and cover failure cases
• Diagnose issues across services, tune monitoring and use business metrics for stability and performance
• Identify vulnerabilities and design features with abuse prevention in mind
• Flag blockers early and drive dependencies to resolution
• Mentor teammates and contribute to runbooks and ADRs
