Job summary

SAF Aerogroup is looking for a Rotor Wing Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to ensure compliance with maintenance standards and oversee aircraft maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate must be a qualified Aircraft Maintenance Engineer with a valid SACAA License and at least 10 years of relevant experience in the aircraft maintenance environment.

This role involves maintaining serviceable aircraft, fault finding, defect rectification, and adhering to regulatory standards. Willingness to travel abroad and experience in contact work are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years relevant experience in the aircraft maintenance environment.
• Knowledge and experience in aircraft maintenance logistical support systems.
• Experience of the CAMO system (advantageous).
• Willing to travel abroad.
• Experience in contact work abroad (advantageous).

Responsibilities

• Serviceable Aircraft Delivered.
• Ensure all work is carried out according to OEM Documentation.
• Carry out fault finding and defect rectification.
• Ensure the correct spares are ordered.
• Maintain Good Tool control.
• Comply with SACAA or other relevant Authorities Regulations.
• Maintain a high-Quality Standard.
• Adhere to Standard Times for Maintenance Tasks.
• Experience in defect diagnostics and rectifications.
• Prepare and assist with Internal and External Audits.
