Job summary

Analog Devices, a global semiconductor leader, seeks a Senior Embedded Systems Engineer – RF Systems to design, develop, and optimize embedded platforms for next-generation wireless tech. You will merge firmware, RF hardware, and real-time software across complex front-end and transceiver systems.

The role demands 7+ years in RF/embedded engineering, strong C/C++, and hands-on work with RF calibration, lab validation, and cross-functional collaboration with silicon and RF design teams.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in embedded systems engineering, with a focus on RF systems.
• Strong proficiency in C/C++ and embedded software development for real-time systems.
• Experience with microcontrollers, DSPs, FPGAs, and SoCs used in RF applications.
• Solid understanding of RF system design, calibration, and control.
• Familiarity with lab equipment (spectrum analyzers, VNAs, oscilloscopes) for system validation.

Responsibilities

• System Architecture & Design: Define and implement embedded system architectures for RF front-end and transceiver platforms.
• Develop firmware and low-level drivers for RF control, calibration, and signal processing.
• Integrate RF hardware (PAs, LNAs, filters, tuners, transceivers) with embedded software systems.
• Research & Development: Explore new embedded control methodologies for adaptive RF systems; prototype and validate advanced algorithms.
• Validation & Optimization: Develop automated test frameworks for embedded RF systems and ensure real-time performance.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with RF design, hardware, and systems engineering teams; mentor junior engineers.
