Job summary

Montauk Renewables, Inc. is seeking a Process Engineer in Turkey, NC region to support existing operations and new development projects. The role focuses on equipment sizing, PFD and P&ID development, process control strategies, and startup support to maximize RNG or electricity production.

Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential. The candidate will lead engineering efforts, create technical drawings, and translate lab data to commercial-scale designs, while ensuring safe,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or Engineering Technology or equivalent experience.
• Graduate degree is a plus.
• Professional Engineering license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams and mentor early career engineers.
• Develop heat and material balance and Process Flow Diagram.
• Specify equipment and develop Piping & Instrument Diagrams.
• Develop manufacturing costs and scale-up data for design.
• Improve processes at existing facilities and support startup activities.
